Tight Ends Have Changed the Way NFL Offenses Play
This article talks about how tight ends have changed the way football is played. In this article it tells how back when football first started tight ends were used as just an extra blocker to block for running back and QB. Occasionally they would go out for 4 yard passes. Now tightens are the keys to most offenses. They are not only tall strong guys but the tight ends are now fast and athletic which makes it harder for the corner back to guard because of their height. It is also, hard for Linebackers to guard because of their speed. As each season passes each team will have a key tight end for their offense.
